Favorite Stock Show:
Georgia Junior Beef Futurity
Why? I had a ton of fun at the show and the level of competition was fantastic.

Favorite Judge:
George Kefner, Florida
Why? He knows what he is looking for in any beef animal and he is very personable and easy to talk to.

How old were you when you first started showing? I was 7.

What is your biggest accomplishment in the show ring? Raising the Grand Champion Lee County Born Steer at the South West Florida and Lee Livestock Fair.

Who is your hero? My whole family. They have helped me with so much in life

If you could go to lunch with anyone at a stock show, who would it be and why? Who I always do! My best friends Haley and Justin, we always go out to lunch or dinner after shows and have so much fun!

Who is the person who has helped you the most with your show projects? Either my dad or my grandpa. Dad always helps with me with showmanship and grooming where my grandpa will feed for me if I can’t make it over there.

On a typical school day, what time do you have to get up in the morning? Now I get up at 7 to get ready for school.

What is your daily routine you use when working with your project? When I come home after school I go out and tie them up for about 1-3 hours I brush and comb them out every day I blow them out every other day and wash 2 times a week.

Favorite tip about showing: Don’t get mad. Just laugh it off. Your calf can feel everything you feel!!

What’s your typical show ring attire? Depends on the Florida weather. In the summer/spring it’s a polo with jeans and boots. In the fall/winter it’s a long sleeve button up shirt jeans and boots. And I always have on a bling belt with one of my buckles on it.

Do you do anything differently when you’re in showmanship versus when you’re just showing in the show? I work a lot faster. In the show I want my calves feet to be exact in showmanship I don’t worry about it too much I just get it as close as I can.

If you have a choice, would you rather wash the animals or get them dry? I hate to wash calves but I’ll blow dry one until their hair falls out!

Besides showing, what are your hobbies? Riding horses, hunting, fishing, shopping, hanging out with friends, and playing with my puppy.

About how many shows to you get to go to each year? In a normal show season about 10-15.

What’s the one show supply you just couldn’t live without on show day? Tail adhesive! My favorite part of fitting is gluing the legs. And I have been known to do guys hair with it to!

Do you have any “good luck charms” about showing? Yes. I always slap my grooming chute when I pull my calves out of it before my class.

If you have two animals that win classes, who would be your #1 choice to help show your other animal in the champion drive (adult or junior)?
Haley Webb, she’s my best friend and has helped me show before. I know she would never do me wrong and she’s and amazing showman.

You just won Grand Champion at the biggest show ever. You and your family get a free dinner at any restaurant of your choice. Where would you pick? The Dillard House in Dillard, Georgia. The food is fantastic, and the servings are huge!!
